Grab your tennies and water bottle and get ready to sweat, or not, in the annual Strides for Schools 5k Fun Run/Walk on Saturday, April 30th at 8:15 a.m. in the parking lot of Clyde Abshire Stadium, Deer Park, TX. The proceeds form this family event will go to the Deer Park Education Foundation to fund Teacher Enrichment Grants. After the race, the stadium will hold concessions, booths and games for kids to play until the posting of results. This race promises a morning of friendly competition and fun while supporting a great cause. Whether a runner, walker or some of both, anyone will definitely enjoy this community event.
