The Antler Café opened on October 25th and will open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:00-8:35 am each week. Student’s that work at the Café will offer cold and hot breakfast beverages to teachers and students. The Café was opened last year by Anne Farley, The North Campus Librarian.
“I wanted to bring students into the library, and drink their coffee, kind of with a Barnes and Noble feel” Farley, said. ”Money goes to all reading events that go on in the library.”
In addition, Farley has come up with a very diverse beverage menu for the Café workers to make and serve to the students.
“We will sell Hot Cocoa, all types of Latte’s, Frappuccino’s and Smoothies.” Farley said.
